Hi, I'm Nadine, a visual communicator living in sunny Pretoria, South Africa. I completed my BA degree in Creative Brand Communications at Vega in March 2018 as one of the top 5 in my class.
My parents noticed my natural talents for art and encouraged me from a very young age to invest my time in my skills as an artist. I've studied and practised art for over 20 years and started investing in branding and design for the last 7 years.
I love business building and working with new teams on different projects. I offer a wide range of brand services and collaborate with other industry freelancers to deliver well-rounded projects. I'm extremely passionate about what I do and would like to invite you to go through my portfolio pieces and get inspired by my works. Feel free to get in touch if you like my style and would like to collaborate.
Where did the name Studio 504 come from?
In my second year of university, I lived with a classmate just up the road from Vega in an apartment building, on the fifth floor. The apartment was white and grey with super minimal furniture (all my roommates of course). She had a large white dining table that could seat 6 people at a time.
Throughout my time living and studying there, I would invite my peers and friends over for work sessions and we soon started calling them "studio sessions". This was the time when my creative journey started as a designer. I needed to name my side hustle (now small business) and wanted to be able to look back at where it all started, in apartment 4 on the fifth floor, at Studio 504.
